What types of rooms do you have?

At Maxhotel, we offer a variety of comfortable and stylish rooms to suit different travel needs:

  • Small Double Room (10 sqm) – Cozy and perfect for two, featuring a double-sized bed (180 cm x 200 cm).

  • Twin Room (12 sqm) – Ideal for friends or colleagues, equipped with two single-sized beds (90 cm x 200 cm).

  • Standard Room (12 sqm) – A comfortable space with a double-sized bed (180 cm x 200 cm).

  • Superior Room (15 sqm) – A more spacious option with a double-sized bed (180 cm x 200 cm), offering additional comfort.

  • Triple Room (15 sqm) – Great for small groups or families, with one double-sized bed (180 cm x 200 cm) and one single-sized bed (90 cm x 200 cm).

  • Quadruple Accessible Room (25 sqm) – Designed for accessibility and larger groups, featuring one double-sized bed (180 cm x 200 cm) and two single-sized beds (90 cm x 200 cm).

  • Family Quintuple Room (25 sqm) – Perfect for families, offering one double-sized bed (180 cm x 200 cm) and three single-sized beds (90 cm x 200 cm).

Do your rooms have a safe?

Only our Superior Rooms include a safe for your valuables.

Are your rooms smoking or non-smoking?

All rooms at Maxhotel are non-smoking. We have a dedicated smoking area outside the hotel.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is available from 15:00 onwards, and check-out is until 11:00.

Can I request early check-in or late check-out?

Early check-in is possible, subject to availability and an additional fee. Late check-out is available until 13:00 for an extra charge.

Is Maxhotel pet-friendly?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets. However, service animals with a valid service ID are welcome. Additional fees apply.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept:

  • Bank transfers (must be completed at least two weeks before arrival).

  • iDeal.

  • All major credit and debit cards (including contactless payments).

  • Payment links upon request.

Parking

Is parking available, and how much does it cost?

The first hour of parking is free. After that, parking costs €1.25 per hour or €15.00 per day. Spaces are limited and subject to availability.

Can a coach bus park at the hotel?

Unfortunately, coach buses cannot park at our hotel. However, there is a designated parking area within a 10-minute walk, behind Hyatt Place.

Dining

Does the hotel have a restaurant, and what meals are available?

Maxhotel does not have a full restaurant, but we offer a 24/7 Grab & Go section for snacks and meals. Breakfast must be booked in advance and includes a continental buffet or takeaway breakfast packs. We also offer lunch and dinner bowls available through Grab & Go. Pre-orders are required for larger groups.

Are there restaurants nearby?

Restaurants can be found in Hoofddorp Centrum, just a 10-minute drive away.

Do you offer room service?

No, but our Grab & Go section is available 24/7

Services & Facilities

Does the hotel have a gym or laundry service?

We do not have a gym, but we can recommend nearby fitness centers. While we don’t have on-site laundry facilities, we partner with a laundry service that offers pick-up and drop-off. Available Monday to Saturday, with varying fees on Saturdays and holidays.

How often are the rooms cleaned?

For stays of four nights or longer, we provide one complimentary cleaning. Additional cleanings can be requested for a fee.

How can I get to Amsterdam city center, Hoofddorp Centrum, or Keukenhof?
  • To Amsterdam city center: Take bus 397 from De Hoek, Hoofddorp to Leidseplein, Stadhouderskade (every 10 minutes). Alternatively, take a bus to Schiphol Airport and transfer to a train to Amsterdam Central Station. Taxi services such as Uber and Bolt are also available.

  • To Hoofddorp Centrum: A 10-minute bike ride or take bus 341 from De Hoek, Hoofddorp to Spaarnehuis Getsewoude.

  • To Keukenhof: Take bus 361 from De Hoek, Hoofddorp to Sassenheim. Alternatively, take a bus to Schiphol Airport and transfer to the Keukenhof Express.

How do I pay for public transport, and do you sell tickets?

All public transport accepts credit and debit cards, including contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Wallet, etc.). We also sell Bus, Tram, and Metro (BTM) tickets for Connexxion buses, as well as 1-day and 3-day Amsterdam & Region tickets.
